Barometric / Pressure Sensors
Barometric or Pressure sensors.
Barometrs are essentially pressure measurement devices that can be used to measure the atmospheric pressure and any changes therein.
It can thus be used to measure any durinal changes in atmospheric pressure due to temperature, etc
Given everything else being a constant, a barometric pressure sensor can be used as a crude altimeter as we all know, the atmospheric pressure changes at a fixed rate with altitude. A phenomenon often exploited in many A-B-C watches, but this, however, is not a very accurate measure of altitude.
An accurate G-sensor (very precise accelerometer) is a better way to measure absolute altitude above m.s.l. and Fab.to.Lab cannot be held responsible for projects involving altitude measurements using any of our barometeric pressure sensors.
