The PinePhone Pro is the fastest mainline Linux smartphone on the market. Powered by a RK3399S SoC with two snappy 1.5GHz A72 cores and four efficient 1.5GHz A53 cores, it is a powerful pocket computer and phone in one. Remaining spec’s are a significant upgrade from the original PinePhone as well: 128GB flash storage, 4GB LPDDR RAM, a high quality 13MP Sony image sensor and an in-cell 1440×720 IPS panel with Gorilla Glass 4™. We simultaneously retained the best features of the original design, such as: the privacy hardware switches, pogo pins compatible with the keyboard and add-on cases, and the global band EG25-G modem.

• In time, we envision the PinePhone Pro as a daily driver for Linux enthusiasts keen to run pure Linux on their smartphone. However, at present time, the preinstalled Manjaro Arm with Plasma Mobile should be considered pre-Beta. This means that the device cannot be considered a consumer-ready product and is better suited for enthusiasts and developers with knowledge of the Linux ecosystem, who know what they are getting into.
• The Explorer Edition production run of the PinePhone Pro is specifically made for developers and early adopters.
