With a universal remote and an infrared receiver, you can add a wireless keypad to your microcontroller applications. The parts in this kit along with the example programs make it possible to enter values and control your projects in the same way you might with a TV or other entertainment system component. Applications and sample code for all BASIC Stamp models, Arduino for the Shield-Bot, Propeller C and BlocklyProp for the ActivityBot, and MicroPython for the cyber:bot are linked below; be sure to check out both the Downloads and Additional Resources.
- The remote comes un-programmed; use its enclosed instructions or follow the video to set it to Sony protocol for use with Parallax projects.
Note: Requires 2 alkaline AA batteries, not included.
