This demonstration board is the ideal means to evaluate the performance of PIC18F series 8-bit microcontrollers. The board features a PIC18F8722 microcontroller, which is the superset of the entire 64- and 80-pin PIC18FXXXX general purpose +5V MCU family. The board can easily be used to evaluate the PIC18 J-series +3V devices. The J-series products have Plug-in Modules that will automatically configure the voltage of the HPC Explorer Board to be +3V.
