CM3588 is a high-performance ARM computer module designed and developed by the Friendly Elec team. It uses the Rockchip RK3588 as the main control processor and is equipped with 4/8/16GB LPDDR4X memory and 0/64GB eMMC flash storage. CM3588 features four 100-pin board-to-board connectors, providing access to almost all IO resources.The CM3588 computing module has a rich set of peripherals and expansion interfaces. It can be connected to a carrier board that supports four NVMe high-speed solid-state drives, with read/write rates of up to 1GB/s. Additionally, it includes dual HDMI-Out display interfaces and one HDMI-In interface, two USB 3.0 ports, one USB 2.0 port, a 2.5G Ethernet interface, and more.The carrier board's two HDMI output interfaces and one HDMI input interface can decode and play videos in formats such as up to 8K60p H.265/VP9 and 8K30p H.264, and it can also record 4K60p H.265 format videos.CM3588 supports various operating systems such as Android, Ubuntu, Debian, Buildroot, OpenMediaVault, and OpenWrt. It has a rich software ecosystem, making it suitable for rapid prototyping and product development of high-end Al products in areas such as facial recognition, computer vision, autonomous driving, and deep computational analysis, particularly for small and medium-sized enterprises and startups.
