The 74LVC244A is an octal buffer which can be used to buffer signals to or from microcontrollers or other devices. This device accepts up to 5V on the input allowing 5V interface to 3.3V devices. The 20 pin DIP package allows for easy breadboard prototyping and the package includes 8 buffered drivers that can source or sink 24 mA. Outputs are tristate capable.
