8devices Carambola2 is a member of Carambola wireless modules family and is based on Qualcomm AR9331 SoC.Carambola2 is a surface mountable, single sided, Wi-Fi enabled Linux module, featuring the lowest power consumption in the industry.
Module comes in two versions:
- Commercial : Carambola2 - Wi-Fi module
Commercial module version is operating in 0 - 60 °C temperature range (Industrial -40 - 85°C).
- Industrial : Carambola2-I - Wi-Fi module
Industrial module version is operating in -40 - 85°C temperature range (Commercial 0 - 60 °C).
8devices is providing OpenWRT linux distribution source code with necessary patches on GitHub repository.
