This is a low-power pure-offline voice recognition module with less than 100ms identification time and 150 pre-programmed commands. It uses the US516P6 voice chip with a 32-bit RSIC architecture core, DSP instruction set, and FPU arithmetic unit. Ideal for various smart devices like smart home appliances, toys, and lamps that require voice control.

Online Voice recognition modules require a reliable internet connection to generate responses and are not independent of the Microcontroller/Processor controlling them. While one can create an offline voice recognition module using a compatible processor like RaspberryPi, and train a custom neural network to do this, it is not feasible for battery-operated edge devices

This Grove-Offline Voice Recognition Module is a truly offline voice recognition module with 150 pre-programmed voice commands, which can be communicated through UART. It features connections for the speaker and microphone, along with indicator LEDs. The power supply to the module is ESD-protected, adding more safety to the module. It is a perfect low-cost solution for adding voice control to your IoT projects!
